HOBIENNALE is a free festival of art, music, performance and public programs presented in and around Hobart by a collective of independent artist-led organisations and cooperatives from around Australia and New Zealand.

In 2019, the festival brings together 21 artist-led organisations and cooperatives, showcasing the work of around 100 artists and musicians in 21 exhibitions across 15 venues.

The festival would not happen without the dedication of the diverse range of artist-led organisations and cooperatives participating, the vibrant Hobart arts community and the many people who volunteer their time.

HOBIENNALE has received generous in-kind support from Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, Moonah Arts Centre, Rosny Farm & Clarence City Council, DarkLab, Studio 65 and Salamanca Arts Centre without which, the festival would not be possible.

HOBIENNALE is assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, through Arts Tasmania by the Minister for the Arts and by the Hobart City Council.
